Biloxi Murder Suspect: Man Arrested in Mississippi Linked to Arizona Killing

Biloxi, Mississippi, police arrested 27-year-vintage Randal Basilio Santillan on Friday, February 6, in connection with a murder that occurred approximately 1,600 miles away in Arizona.

A Multi-State Investigation

The case began on January 19, when 18-year-old Yessenia Gabriella Norman was reported missing to the Tolleson Police Department in Arizona. Norman had left her apartment days prior, on January 15, to meet Santillan, whom she had met on a dating site.

On January 28, officers with the Tolleson Police Department discovered Norman’s body in an apartment leased by Santillan. A warrant for Santillan’s arrest was subsequently issued, as he was not at the scene.

Investigators determined that Santillan had left Arizona and traveled to Biloxi, Mississippi. He was arrested without incident on February 6 in the 200 block of Baker Street by Biloxi Police Department officers.
