Equity actors are being sought for roles in the 2026 season at Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre in Grand Lake, Colorado. An Equity Principal Audition (EPA) is scheduled for Tuesday, February 24, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM at the Actors’ Equity New York Audition Center.
Audition Details
The audition, originally scheduled for February 23, will proceed with the same appointments. No new online sign-ups will be accepted. Performers will be considered for roles in Shrek The Musical, Ditty Rotten Scoundrels, and Urinetown, which will be performed in repertory. A fall production of BEEHIVE: NEVER CAN SAY GOODBYE, THE MUSICAL (’70’s EDITION) will likewise be cast.
Actors of all ethnicities, nationalities, gender identities, and types are encouraged to audition. Those auditioning should prepare two brief cuts of music appropriate for the season’s shows, bringing sheet music in their key and readable for the pianist. A picture and resume, stapled together, are also required.
Compensation
The contract is SPT, with a weekly minimum of $623 (SPT 6) for the Summer Rep productions and $457 (SPT 3) for BEEHIVE. Rehearsals for the Summer Rep begin May 25, 2026, with performances closing August 29, 2026. Rehearsals for BEEHIVE begin August 24, 2026, with the show opening September 4, 2026, and closing October 3, 2026.

Jeff Duke is the Associate Artistic Director, Suzanna Champion is the Casting Associate, and Michael Querio is the Executive Artistic Director and Musical Director. James Shoppe, the Casting Director and co-director of two of the season’s shows, is also expected to attend the audition.
