The Tecno Camon 50 has arrived, and first impressions are strong. The device immediately stands out with its unique back panel design. The unit reviewed features a “Malachite Green” colorway, a distinctive and eye-catching hue for the phone.

The back of the Camon 50 incorporates a dual-tone effect, adding visual depth and preventing a monotonous appearance. The green color is darker in the camera module area and lighter around the edges.

This color scheme is combined with a matte finish that doesn’t reflect light, creating a luxurious, clean, and premium feel. Even with a matte finish, the phone displays varying shades of green depending on the lighting conditions – appearing more vibrant in bright light and more subdued in dimmer environments.

Beyond its aesthetics, the Tecno Camon 50 is comfortable to hold thanks to its relatively slim and lightweight build. The phone is approximately 7.5mm thick and feels under 200 grams in hand. The flat frame and rounded corners further enhance grip and usability.

The phone is also designed with durability in mind, offering IP69K/IP69/IP68 dust and water resistance. It also features a 5-year durability battery with 45W Super Charge capabilities.

The camera system includes a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700C Ultra Night Camera, a 50MP ultra-clear main camera with a 1/1.56″ sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide angle camera, and a 32MP front camera.

Availability and Pricing

The Tecno Camon 50 was officially introduced in Indonesia in February 2026, with a starting price of around Rp 3 million (approximately $190 USD). The Tecno Camon 50 Pro 5G was also released in Indonesia in March 2026.
