Destiny Rael, a close friend of Tenisha Warner for 19 years, launched a $40,000 GoFundMe campaign on August 11, 2026, to assist the late actor’s widow and their nine-year-old daughter. According to the fundraiser, Tenisha stepped back from her career as a doctor of psychology to serve as a stay-at-home mother, leaving her without a personal income following the tragedy.
Tenisha Warner’s Lawsuit Against the Warner Family Trust
The financial pressure stems from a collision between an outdated estate plan and an unfinished premarital agreement. In July, Tenisha filed a lawsuit against the actor’s mother, Pamela Warner, who serves as the successor trustee of the Warner Family Trust. The legal action claims Tenisha is owed more than $1.2 million under the terms of their May 2022 prenuptial agreement.
The disputed sum includes several financial obligations that were never fulfilled during the actor’s lifetime, including a $1 million life insurance policy, annual tax-free payments of $16,000 on wedding anniversaries, ongoing Roth IRA funding, and a $5,000 monthly compensation for her work as his chief of staff and assistant.
