Casablanca welcomed 50 children from Maqdessi on Wednesday morning to take part in the 17th edition of a summer camp organized by the Bayt Mal Al-Qods Acharif Agency, running from August 12 to 26 under the high patronage of King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Qods Committee. Executed in partnership with the Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication, specifically the youth sector, the initiative brings together participants aged 11 to 14 under the theme “Phare de paix” to explore the Kingdom of Morocco while fostering direct cultural exchange with their Moroccan peers.

Summer School and Digital Safety Workshops
The first stage of the itinerary opens with a summer school running from August 12 to 14 under the theme “Nous apprenons… Nous créons… Nous aspirons avec espoir dans l’avenir”. According to the organizers, Maqdessi and Moroccan children participate jointly in shows, competitions, and supervised activities led by the team behind the electronic platform “Hayya”, which is supported by the Bayt Mal Al-Qods Acharif Agency to raise awareness of Al-Qods values among youth. Additionally, experts from the National Commission for the Control of Protection of Personal Data (CNDP) lead a dedicated workshop on the safe use of the internet and information technologies.
Itinerary From Rabat to Tangier
The itinerary includes official institutional visits in Rabat during the opening phase, which concludes on Sunday, August 16, with a tour of the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca. Following the Casablanca visits, the children head to Tangier starting Monday, August 17, to begin the second segment of the journey. This subsequent phase features excursions across northern territories, including stops in Tetouan and Chefchaouen.
