Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce reflected on his July wedding to Taylor Swift during a media event at training camp, describing the star-studded Madison Square Garden celebration as the best night of his life while turning his focus toward the upcoming 2026 NFL season.
The celebration brought together a massive gathering of entertainment icons, athletes, and family inside one of New York’s most famous venues.

The event featured comedian Adam Sandler serving as the surprise officiant and music legend Stevie Nicks performing for roughly 1,000 guests, according to reporting from Page Six.
The guest list featured an array of notable figures spanning film, music, and sports, including Paul McCartney, Bradley Cooper, Zoë Kravitz, Hugh Grant, Ethan Hawke, Gigi Hadid, Karlie Kloss, Chris Rock, Steven Spielberg, Selena Gomez, Cara Delevingne, the Haim Sisters, Sabrina Carpenter, and Ed Sheeran. Several NFL figures also attended, among them retired quarterback Tom Brady and Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Kelce admitted that selecting the historic New York arena fulfilled a long-held personal ambition. He noted that he had always wanted to experience the venue during a major sporting event when the New York Knicks were playing, but noted that his wife attended a game while he was occupied with minicamp commitments. Securing the arena also provided the couple with a private, paparazzi-free environment featuring direct car access and windowless event spaces.
Returning to Football and Training Camp Sanctuary
Following the summer festivities, Kelce traveled to Missouri Western State University for the Chiefs’ training camp, a location he describes as his personal sanctuary. Turning 37 in October, the veteran tight end is preparing for his 14th professional season.
The upcoming campaign follows a difficult 6-11 finish for Kansas City last year, during which Kelce started all 17 games, recording 76 receptions for 851 yards and five touchdowns. Meanwhile, quarterback Patrick Mahomes continues his recovery following a season-ending knee surgery that required a procedure in December.
Kelce expressed strong motivation heading into the new year, emphasizing his desire to elevate his performance compared to the previous season and maintain accountability for his teammates.
