Police Investigate Death in Bulgarian Hotel Complex; ‘Raid Gas’ and Drugs Found Near Body

On December 22, a distressing call to emergency line 112 reporting an unresponsive individual resulted in the discovery of a man’s lifeless body at the luxurious "Hippodrome" hotel complex in Dobrich, Bulgaria. The Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior confirmed the incident, stating that a medical team declared the victim, identified as A.A., deceased.

Upon inspection, police found no visible signs of foul play. However, eight empty cans of ‘Raid’ insecticide and 0.4 grams of a white, crystalline substance suspected to be methamphetamine were discovered in the room.

An ongoing pre-trial investigation has been launched, as authorities continue to gather evidence and determine the cause of death. This unfortunate incident serves as a stark reminder of the potential dangers associated with substance abuse.
