Aileen King, a native of Shercock, Co. Cavan, passed away peacefully at her home in Derryvohey, Balla, held by her friend Cathy Walsh. Her passing leaves a significant void for her family and community.
A Life Remembered
Born and raised in County Cavan, Aileen was described as “a Cavan woman through and through.” She is predeceased by her father, Michael Burns, and her brother, Eamon Burns. Her memory will be cherished by her mother, Elizabeth Burns, and a large family including sisters Pauline Grimes and Siobhan Stevenson, and brothers Michael, Peter, and Ciaran.
Aileen’s passing will be felt deeply by her extended family, including brothers-in-law Dennis and Stevie, and sisters-in-law Kylie and Nancy.
Funeral Arrangements
Reposing will take place at her home (F23 F680) on Wednesday, December 17th, from 6pm to 8pm. The family requests privacy outside of these hours. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 18th, at 12 noon in the Church of the Holy Family, Kiltimagh, Co. Mayo, followed by burial in Kilkinure cemetery.
