Air Force Chief Names Strategic Command Leaders

JAKARTA, Indonesia – A significant transition took place at the National Air Force Command (Koopsudnas) with the assumption of duties, marked by a formal handover ceremony led by its Commander, Marshal of the Air Force TNI Tedi Rizalihadi. The event, held at the Koopsudnas Headquarters in Halim Perdanakusuma, Jakarta Timur, saw the transfer of power in three strategic positions.

Successfully taking the reins were:

  1. Kelompok Staff Ahli (Kelompok Staff Ahli) Koopsudnas: The position changed hands from Marshal Marsma TNI S. Chandra Siahaan to Marshal Marsma TNI Engkus Kuswara.
  2. Assistant for Intelligence (Asintel) Kaskoopsudnas: Here, Marshal Marsma TNI Yudi Mandega R handed over to Marshal Marsma TNI Riva Yanto.
  3. Assistant for Territorial Affairs (Aspotdirga) Kaskoopsudnas: This post was passed from Marshal Marsma TNI Fajar Adriyanto to Marshal Marsma TNI Elia Adriyanto.

Meanwhile, the outgoing officers have taken up new roles:

  • Marshal Marsma TNI S. Chandra Siahaan is now Deputy for Development at the Wantanas Executive Agency.
  • Marshal Marsma TNI Yudi Mandega has assumed the position of Assistant for Intelligence at the Indonesian Armed Forces Command.
  • Marshal Marsma TNI Fajar Adriyanto is now the Staff Ahli at the Indonesian Army Headquarters.

In his remarks, Commander Rizilhadi emphasized the importance of these roles in supporting the duties of the Koopsudnas Commander. He urged the new officers to build upon the accomplishments of their predecessors and drive innovation to enhance Koopsudnas performance.

"Today, we celebrate the dedication and service of outgoing officers as they embark on their next chapters," said Commander Rizilhadi, "and welcome our new leaders, wishing them success in their new roles."

The ceremony was attended by the Kaskoopsudnas Commander, Marshal of the Air Force Donald Kasenda, other Koopsudnas officials, and the chairperson of the Koopsudnas Veterans Association, Ny. Dewi Tedi Rizilhadi.
