An automotive enthusiast has commissioned Alfa Romeo’s Bottegafuoriserie division to build a unique, one-off version of the new 33 Stradale, finished entirely in a matte carbon fiber theme dubbed Perla Nera. The custom build retains the standard model’s mechanical setup while featuring bespoke interior touches tailored specifically to the buyer.
Matte Carbon Exterior and Tailored Alcantara Interior
The exterior of the 33 Stradale Perla Nera features a matte carbon fiber body with an all-black color scheme. Inside, the cabin is trimmed in Alcantara, highlighted by seats custom-molded to fit the exact physical dimensions of the vehicle’s owner. While standard production models feature various trim choices, this unique commission leans heavily into a stealth aesthetic. Stellantis media documentation outlines that the car exists as a single, bespoke unit built through Alfa Romeo’s tailored coachbuilding program.
Twin-Turbo V6 Performance and Production Background
Beneath the rear bodywork, the Perla Nera remains mechanically identical to the standard production run. It utilizes a twin-turbocharged V6 engine producing 629 horsepower, directing power to the rear wheels through an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. Alfa Romeo originally limited the main production run of the 33 Stradale to 33 units, each priced at over two million euros. While the exact cost paid by the commissioner for this single-unit Perla Nera remains undisclosed, industry expectations suggest a substantial financial premium over the base vehicle price.
Public Exhibition Ahead of Delivery
Before heading to its private owner, the Perla Nera will be displayed at the Museo Alfa Romeo in Arese until Oct. 18. Alfa Romeo confirmed that this bespoke delivery is entirely separate from the separate super car concept the manufacturer plans to unveil at the Paris Motor Show.
