The Northeast Monsoon, known as the ‘Amihan,’ will continue to bring cloudy skies and light rains to several regions of the Philippines on Monday.

According to the state weather bureau’s 4 a.m. Public weather forecast, the Bicol Region, Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya, Apayao, Kalinga, and Mountain Province will experience cloudy skies with light rains due to the Amihan.
Metro Manila, the rest of Luzon, the Visayas, Dinagat Islands, and Surigao del Norte are forecast to have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains. The remainder of Mindanao will see partly cloudy skies, potentially developing into rainshowers or thunderstorms.
PAGASA has cautioned that localized thunderstorms in parts of Mindanao could trigger flash floods or landslides. Moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough seas are expected in Northern Luzon, the eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon, the Visayas, the rest of Luzon, and the eastern section of Mindanao.
The rest of Mindanao will experience light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal water conditions.
