Annie-May Barroe, a resident of Carracastle and formerly of Carn, Charlestown, has passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at Mayo University Hospital, aged in her 92nd year.
A Life Remembered
Ms. Barroe was predeceased by her husband, Jack, and her brothers, Luke and Johnny, as well as her parents, John and Ellen. She is survived by her daughters Rita (Walsh), Eileen (Mulligan), Kathleen (Shryane), Yvonne (Holmes), and son John.
Her family also includes grandchildren Colin, Colette, Ashling, Gavin, Kieran, Sandra, Darren, Shane, Caroline, Rory, Luke, Katie, and Matthew. She also leaves behind great-grandchildren Jack, Evie, Chloe, Sasha, Lee, Saoirse, Mylah, Jake, and Logan, along with sons-in-law Christy, Joe, James, Tommy, and daughter-in-law Ruth, as well as numerous relatives, neighbours, and friends.
Funeral Arrangements
Ms. Barroe will repose at the Horkan Funeral Home, Charlestown (F12D393) on Wednesday from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Following this, her remains will be removed from her home on Thursday to St. James’s Church, Carracastle, for Funeral Mass at 11 o’clock.
