A 25-year-old flight attendant, identified only by her surname Koo, is recuperating in a stable condition at Asan Medical Center in eastern Seoul after a harrowing plane crash, local authorities confirmed. Alongside her, a 33-year-old man named Li also managed to survive the incident, though he remains in critical condition with multiple fractures, including suspected spinal injuries that could potentially lead to full paralysis.
“It was a miraculous escape,” Li recalled to doctors at the hospital where he was rushed after the accident. “It felt surreal when I realized I had made it out alive.”
The accident, details of which are still being investigated, has left passengers and crews counting their blessings, with the tragic loss of life offset by the survival of these two individuals. While the full extent of their injuries is yet to be determined, both Li and Koo have shown remarkable resilience in the face of this harrowing ordeal.
As the investigation into the accident continues, the aviation community and the public express hope for the swift recovery of Li and Koo, while mourning the lives lost in the crash.
