The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office has confirmed that law enforcement officers have identified and apprehended the suspects. Both 38-year-old men have been charged with grave robbery committed by a group with prior conspiracy and violence, in accordance with Article 186, Part 4 of the Ukrainian Criminal Code. This crime is punishable by up to ten years in prison.

The prosecution noted that the attack took place during a period of martial law, which may amplify the penalties for the perpetrators.
