UMass Boston senior Aryianna Garceau, of Dalton, Massachusetts, has been named Co-National Athlete of the Week by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on March 2, 2026. This recognition follows her performance at the 2026 Novel England Division III Championships.
Record-Breaking Performance
Garceau’s achievement comes after she won two individual titles at the D3NE Championships and broke two records. She is the reigning Indoor 60m Hurdles champion and is now the second Beacon in program history to receive this national honor.
In the 60m hurdles, Garceau finished in 8.31 seconds, setting a new NCAA Division III National Record and breaking her own UMass Boston program record. This performance establishes her as the Division III record holder in both the indoor 60m hurdles (8.31) and the outdoor 100m hurdles (13.54).
Garceau too won the women’s 200m dash in 24.32 seconds, marking the fastest time in D3NE Championships history.
