Bank Syariah Indonesia Holds a Bulk Contract of 1,500 KPR Sejahtera Customers


TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Bank Syariah Indonesia carried out a mass agreement of 1,500 customers of the BSI KPR Sejahtera Program in 17 Provinces simultaneously online. The BSI KPR Sejahtera program is a form of participation in running the Housing Finance Liquidity Facility (FLPP) national program to help people own a house.

“We want to provide solutions to the community so that they can own a house, of course in accordance with sharia principles. In addition, we hope that the BSI KPR Sejahtera program can directly help the community to have their first house, and also be able to make a positive contribution to the company, “said Director of Retail Banking of Bank Syariah Indonesia, Kokok Alun Akbar in a written statement Tuesday, April 13, 2021.

He said the mass contract, which was carried out in 83 branch offices, was one of the commitments of Bank Syariah Indonesia to become a partner of the government in meeting the housing needs of the community.

In 2021, he said, to encourage the distribution of the BSI KPR Sejahtera program, the company will optimize the existing market share and database of existing customers and build synergies with the best developers from each region to meet housing needs. The target is that Bank Syariah Indonesia can distribute KPR Sejahtera of IDR 2 trillion or more than 14 thousand customers by 2021.

The target of the BSI KPR Sejahtera program is people with an income of up to IDR 8 million (including joint income), with the category of fixed income groups. The segments that are the target market come from employees (PNS / Government Agencies), BUMN employees, TNI / POLRI, doctors & health workers and employees of private companies.

The Managing Director of the Center for Housing Financing Fund Management (PPDPP) Arief Sabaruddin stated that this FLPP facility can help people to own houses with cheap financing.
