Sprüth Magers Hosts 10 Years LA! Exhibition Through August 15
The expansive group show “10 Years LA!” runs through Saturday, Aug. 15, across Sprüth Magers locations at 5900 and 6145 Wilshire Blvd. in the Miracle Mile, according to gallery schedules. The exhibition features gallery artists from the past decade representing Los Angeles in various forms, including Jenny Holzer’s electronic messages, Barbara Kruger’s room-sized wall installations, and works by L.A.-based artists Sterling Ruby and Analia Saban. A special Summer Party event is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 6, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the former Sizzler space down the street, featuring 22 video works spanning from the late 1960s to the present, hot dogs by Tail O’ the Pup, music by Wormwood Star, Mo0d, and Yacht, and a cash bar, with free admission.
The Actors’ Gang Stages Two Gentlebots of Verona at Media Park
The Actors’ Gang presents a 50-minute Shakespeare adaptation titled “Two Gentlebots of Verona” at Media Park, located at 9091 Culver Blvd. in Culver City, running through Saturday, Aug. 15, according to event details. The production reimagines the Bard’s “Two Gentlemen of Verona,” following robot characters whose friendship is tested over their love for Silvia Dot Matrix, with free admission.
Friends of the LA River Host 5th Annual LA RiverFest
The 5th annual LA RiverFest takes place on Sunday, Aug. 9, from 2:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the L.A. State Historic Park located at 1245 N. Spring St. in Downtown L.A., according to the Friends of the LA River. The event features arts, including an environmental art gallery, entertainment, family-friendly eco-activities, treats from local food trucks, and volunteer opportunities, with free admission.
Anaheim Packing District Launches D23-Themed World Taste Event

Curated by Yuka Honda to celebrate Yoko Ono’s solo show at the museum, the concert features artists including Rufus Wainwright, Sleater-Kinney, and Sylvan Esso. Every Wednesday in August from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., the New Orleans-themed restaurant offers its signature Charbroiled Oysters—charbroiled in a beer and butter sauce with white cheese, breadcrumbs, Cajun spices, onion, and bacon bits, served with lemon—for $25 per dozen, alongside Abita beer and New Orleans cocktails.
