President Joe Biden has responded to the horrifying incident in New Orleans, where a man drove a pickup truck into a crowd celebrating New Year’s Eve 2025, killing 10 people and injuring 35 others. The President made it clear that the United States will not tolerate any form of violence against its citizens.

The New Orleans Police Department, led by Chief Anne Kirkpatrick, confirmed that the incident occurred on the evening of December 30, 2024. The suspect deliberately targeted the crowd, aiming to hit as many people as possible.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing, and no motive has been confirmed at this time. President Biden has extended his deepest condolences to the families of the victims and wishes a speedy recovery to those injured.
