She describes her adopted dog, Gys, as “truly a joy to have around”. “He’s always in a good mood and doing well. We’ve always had dogs like Gys, ‘second chance’ dogs, so we have quite a bit of experience with this,” Jacqueline shares.
Gys may have come into their lives with some mystery, but Jacqueline and her family have started to unravel his past. “We’ve discovered that he’s 4.5 years old. At first, we weren’t sure, but his microchip helped us figure it out,” she reveals.
