Sentinels Recruits VALORANT Champions Winner Brock “brawk” Somerhalder for VCT 2027
Sentinels has officially signed former NRG initiator Brock “brawk” Somerhalder to its active VALORANT roster for the 2027 season, Dot Esports reported. The roster addition follows an initial report on X by @ariiii. Somerhalder departs NRG after joining the organization in February 2025. The American player enters his second tier-one team as Sentinels restructures following a season without an international tournament appearance.
NRG replaced Somerhalder with Daniel “eeiu” Vucenovic, who previously played for NRG, 100 Thieves, and FURIA. During his tenure with NRG, Somerhalder helped the team place second in VCT Americas 2025 Stage 2 and qualify for VALORANT Champions 2025 in Paris, where the squad secured the world championship title without dropping a series. Somerhalder earned tournament MVP honors with a 1.16 rating across 17 maps, heavily recognized for his play on the Odin. At Champions Shanghai in 2026, he posted the 10th-highest rating of 1.09.
Roster Rebuilding After a Difficult 2026 Season

Alongside Somerhalder, Sentinels confirmed the signing of superstar duelist Francis “OXY” Hoang, according to Dot Esports.
