Bridie Brys Hanley of Tobracken, Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon, passed away peacefully on March 29th, 2026, while in the care of The Roscommon Hospice.

Remembering Bridie Hanley

Born on May 12th, 1957, Bridie was predeceased by her parents, Andrew and Mary Joe. She is survived by her daughters, Grazyna (Drury) and Stephanie (Collins), their father Mirek, and eight grandchildren: Rían, Eva-Marie, Callan, Kayleigh, Nicole, Karina, Tomás and Leah.

Bridie will likewise be remembered by her sons-in-law, Conor and Tommy, as well as her extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

A Removal will occur on Wednesday at 10.15 am to St. Nathy’s Cathedral, Ballaghaderreen, for a Mass of the Resurrection at 11 am. This will be followed by a private cremation.
