A resident of Pike Bridge, Maynooth, Co. Kildare, passed away peacefully at home on January 19th, 2026, surrounded by family. She also had roots in Ballintubber, Co. Mayo.

A Life Remembered

She is remembered as the beloved wife of the late Pat and mother of the late Padraic and Peter. Her passing is deeply mourned by her sons, Liam and John, daughters Marie and Helena, and their respective spouses, Bernard, John-Paul, Bairbre, and Dearbháil.

The family also includes her brother Noel, sister-in-law Teresa, 11 grandchildren, and a wide circle of nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, and friends.

Funeral Arrangements

Following a period of repose, her remains will be removed from her residence on Thursday, January 22nd, at approximately 10:30am for a Funeral Mass at St. Mary’s Church, Maynooth, at 11am.

After the service at St. Mary’s, the cortege will proceed to Ballintubber Abbey for evening prayers at 6pm. A further Funeral Mass is scheduled for Friday at 12 noon, followed by burial in Ballintubber Cemetery.

For those unable to attend in person, the Funeral Mass will be live-streamed via Webcam – Maynooth Parish and Ballintubber Abbey – ChurchTV.
