Bugatti Unveils First US Skyscraper on Miami River
Car brand Bugatti has revealed plans for a 60-storey skyscraper on the Miami River, marking the brand’s first branded residential project in the United States. According to project details, the tower is being developed by Prosper Group and Versluys Group in the city’s Brickell neighbourhood.
The architectural design is led by US-based studio Brandon Haw Architecture, while Yabu Pushelberg is handling the interior design for the building’s 183 apartments and four penthouses. Renderings released show a structure split into four distinct blocks with double-height spaces separating them.
Automotive Design Motifs Inform Miami Tower Architecture
According to Bugatti, the skyscraper’s design draws inspiration from both local Miami architecture and the form of supercars. The building features a direct nod to the brand’s signature C line, a design motif used on Bugatti cars from the 1930s.
“Miami’s bold architecture, creative spirit and global appeal make it a compelling setting for our next Bugatti Residences project,” Bugatti International managing director Wiebke Ståhl said in a statement. The development follows Bugatti’s first residential skyscraper announcement in Dubai in 2023.

Brickell Neighbourhood Wave of Luxury Developments
The Bugatti tower is planned for Brickell, a neighbourhood currently experiencing a wave of high-end real estate development. Major projects in the area include a 54-storey skyscraper designed by Foster + Partners and a 51-storey tower by SOM.
“Miami has become the global epicenter for wealth migration, institutional investment and sophisticated living, with Brickell embodying the prime, waterfront site that is central to Prosper Group’s development strategy,” said Prosper Group CEO Jay Roberts. Fashion brand Dolce & Gabbana is also developing a 90-storey tower in the same neighbourhood.
