Indiana Fever Home Finale Brings Donna Kelce to Gainbridge Fieldhouse
Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark invited Donna Kelce to become a regular presence at Gainbridge Fieldhouse after the mother of NFL stars Travis and Jason Kelce attended a 96-77 victory over the Minnesota Lynx, MARCA reported. The game marked the team’s final regular-season home appearance of the 2026 WNBA season. Clark revealed the exchange during an appearance on Kylie Kelce’s Not Gonna Lie podcast.
Kylie Kelce opened the conversation by mentioning how much her mother-in-law enjoyed watching the team compete in Indianapolis. Clark recalled speaking with Donna after the win and encouraging her return. Donna attended the matchup wearing Clark’s No. 22 jersey and spoke with the guard before tipoff.
Caitlin Clark credits shoes and Kelce ties for win
Clark wore her Friendship Bracelet shoes during the victory against Minnesota. She pointed to that footwear choice when suggesting to Donna that the Kelce family might have acted as a good luck charm for the squad.
The invitation builds on a relationship forged through Clark’s support of the Kansas City Chiefs. The former Iowa star has attended Chiefs games alongside Taylor Swift and appeared on Travis and Jason’s New Heights podcast. She also recently gifted both brothers and Chiefs head coach Andy Reid pairs of her Nike Caitlin 1 signature sneakers.
Clark acknowledged during the podcast that her allegiance to Kansas City remains strong. She enjoys supporting the Indianapolis Colts but felt reluctant to wear their jersey during a recent NFL appearance given her established loyalty to the Chiefs.
