Sacramento Sheriff Respond to Reports of Domestic Disturbance, Arrest Man After Disturbing Discovery
Sacramento Sheriff were called to a family residence early Friday morning following reports of disturbances. Upon arrival, officers found a woman outside the home who claimed that she and her mother had been assaulted by her 28-year-old husband.
Upon further investigation, police discovered that the husband was inside the residence with their son. In a grim turn of events, law enforcement officials uncovered a severed head in the bedroom where the man was subsequently taken into custody.
Initial reports suggest that the gruesome act took place after the man’s wife and mother-in-law had left the home. Aside from confirming the arrest, police have not yet revealed any further details about the motivation behind the heinous crime.
The suspect is currently being held in custody without bail and is expected to appear in court on Tuesday. It is not yet known if he has been assigned a public defender. The investigation remains ongoing, and no further information has been released at this time.
