Fatal Road Accident in the Varnya Region Causes One Death and Injures Five
A tragic traffic accident in the Varnya region has claimed the life of a woman and left five others injured. The incident occurred around 13:00 local time on Thursday, as three light vehicles collided near the village of Goritsa.
Preliminary information indicates that one vehicle crossed the central guardrail and invaded the oncoming lane, causing a chain reaction that resulted in the collision of the three vehicles. The woman who lost her life was pronounced dead at the scene, while five others were transported to the nearest hospital for medical treatment.
The accident has temporarily restricted traffic on the I-9 Varna – Burgas road in the vicinity of Goritsa. Motorists are advised to use the detour route towards Burgas via Staro Oreahovo, Dolen Chiflik, and Aytos.
