Breaking: Prominent Lawyer Shot Dead in New Year’s Eve Tragedy in South Sulawesi
In a shocking turn of events, a lawyer was fatally shot by an unknown assailant on New Year’s Eve in Desa Pattuku, Limpoe, Bone Regency, South Sulawesi. The victim, Makassar“>Rudi S. Gani, 49, was killed in a brazen attack that has left his family and the local community in mourning.
Rudi’s sister, Mahis Gani, spoke exclusively to Apa Kabar Indonesia Malam on tvOne, expressing her profound sadness at the loss of her brother. "We are deeply grief-stricken. We lost Rudi, who was always full of life, just yesterday," she said.
Before his untimely demise, Rudi was seen in Makassar, engaging with locals about their New Year’s Eve plans. He was later seen accompanying a client to the Gowa and Bone Police Stations.
Tragically, Rudi was gunned down while having dinner with his wife at their home in Bone. His body was subsequently taken to Bhayangkara Police Hospital in Makassar for an autopsy. After the autopsy, his body was released to the family for burial.
Mahis revealed that Rudi’s last known activity was a post on his social media status, stating he was on his way to the Bone Regency Police Station.
