Former Colombian national football player Faustino Asprilla will distribute a million condoms to fight the coronavirus pandemic. It is reported by the Daily Mail.
Aspirilya believed that in quarantine conditions caused by coronavirus, people have a lot of free time. “I have many condoms left in my company, and I want to help people use them. To support humanity, I’m going to give away one pack of condoms when I buy three, ”he said.
Throughout his career, Asprilla has played for English Newcastle, Italian Parma, as well as for several South American clubs. The footballer spent 57 matches for the Colombian national team, scoring 20 goals. He is a two-time bronze medalist at the America’s Cup and a silver medalist at the CONCACAF Gold Cup.
March 28 Bloomberg reportedthat the world is waiting for a shortage of condoms and their rise in price. The increase in sales is due to the fear of having children because of the uncertainty of the future, as well as the fact that people are forced to quarantine because of the coronavirus pandemic.
