However, this decision has been met with strong opposition from Agus Salim’s lawyer, Farhat Abbas.
The decision, revealed on Denny Sumargo’s YouTube channel, aims to provide immediate relief to those affected by the disaster. "We plan to take the donations there (to Lewotobi), exactly," confirmed Jerry Julian.
However, Farhat Abbas has labeled this move as a "flight from responsibility" and an attempt to manipulate public opinion. According to him, the funds are solely the property of Agus Salim and should not have been redirected without his consent. Abbas also accused Novi of acting unilaterally and without consideration for the consequences of her actions.

He expressed his confusion and disappointment about the situation, feeling that Novi’s actions were not respectful or honoring to the Minister of Social Affairs.
