He was surrounded by his family and had received care from the medical staff at M.U.H. Castlebar.

Mr. Boylan is remembered as the beloved husband of Celine and a devoted father to Helena, Colm, Patrick, Malachy, and Gerard. He was also a proud grandfather to Daniel, Ella, Conor, Cormac, Alannah, and David.
He will be deeply missed by his sister, Brighid, as well as his sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbors, and friends. Mr. Boylan was predeceased by his father, Patrick Boylan, his mother, Mary Boylan, his sister, Alice Niland, and his brother, Frank Boylan.
