Patrick [Paddy] Roche, of The Ring, Tinnahinch, Graignamanagh, Co. Kilkenny, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2026. He was surrounded by his loving family at the time of his death.
Family and Legacy
Mr. Roche is survived by his wife, Rosie (nee Kinsella), and his children, Jonathan and Anitha. He was a devoted father and a cherished grandfather to Katie, Richie, Ruth, Laura, Ned, Jake, and Beth.
He is also fondly remembered by his sister Eily [Skelton], as well as various brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and neighbors. He was predeceased by several family members, including his granddaughter Emma, his parents John and Catherine, and three brothers.
Funeral and Memorial Arrangements
Reposing will take place at his home on Monday from 3pm to 8pm, with prayers scheduled for 7.30pm. The removal is set for Tuesday morning at 10.30am.
A Requiem Mass will be held at 11am at Duiske Abbey, followed by burial in St. Michael’s cemetery. For those unable to attend in person, the Requiem Mass can be viewed online via this link.
Following the funeral, the family invites attendees to join them for tea and refreshments in the Abbey Hall, Graignamanagh.
