Philomena Kilduff (née Keena), of Ballycanew, Gorey, Co. Wexford, and late of Rathconath and Slanemore, Mullingar, has passed away. She died peacefully on April 21st in the care of the staff at St. Vincent’s Private Hospital, surrounded by her family.
Family and Community Legacy
Mrs. Kilduff was the wife of the late Cyril (Kilduff) and John (O’Leary). She is remembered as the dearly beloved mother of Helen (Killian), Tom, Vincent, and Goretti (Gaule), as well as the late Martin, Kenneth, and Dominic.
Her family network includes her sister Georgina (Keena) and the late Liam, and Camela. She leaves behind a large extended family, including grandchildren Alan, Patrick, Laura, Karla, Robbie, Keela, and Cathal, along with their partners.
She is also survived by great-grandchildren Tyler, Dominic, Kayleigh, and Kyra-Rose. Other mourning relatives include sons-in-law Harold and Stephen, daughter-in-law Anne, brother-in-law Des, and sister-in-law Imelda.
Funeral Arrangements and Memorials
Reposing will take place at her home (Y25 C584) on Thursday, April 23, 2026, from 5 p.m. Until 8 p.m. The family has requested that the house remain private on Friday morning.

The funeral is scheduled to arrive at St. Molings Church in Ballycanew on Friday, April 24, 2026. The Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m., followed by burial in Balkyoughter Cemetery.
The family has requested family flowers only. However, donations may be made to the North Wexford Palliative Care Team if desired.
