The community of Johnstown, Co. Kilkenny, is mourning the loss of Tom Carroll, who passed away peacefully on April 25th. Mr. Carroll, who previously resided at the Pike of Rushall, died whereas under the care of the ICU and SMU staff at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kilkenny.

Family and Legacy

Tom Carroll was the beloved husband of the late Alma, née O’Rourke. He is survived by his daughters, Ciara and Orla, and four grandchildren: Patrick, TJ, Allie Mae, and Isaac.

His extended family includes his sisters Mary and Rosaleen, his brother Jim, sons-in-law Tadas and James, and sister-in-law Geraldine. He is also remembered by a wide circle of friends, as well as nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Mr. Carroll was predeceased by several close family members, including his parents, Paddy and Mary Carroll, and his parents-in-law, Pat and Peggy O’Rourke. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Ann, and his niece, Patricia Sheridan.

Reposing will take place at his residence, 10 Lios Na Sí Johnstown (Eircode E41 T1F8), on Monday afternoon, April 27th, from 4 o’clock until 8 o’clock.
