Breaking: Commuters Stranded as KRL Commuter Line Suffers Power Disruption at Lenteng Agung
JAKARTA, Dec 27 (SINDOnews) — A KRL Commuter Line bound for Bogor faced a Listrik Aliran Atas (LAA) power disruption at Lenteng Agung Station in South Jakarta this evening, leaving countless commuters stranded as the train remained stationary for 30 minutes.
The incident occurred at 17:55 WIB, adding to the Friday evening rush hour chaos. Witnesses report that passengers aboard the halted train have begun disembarking, with some opting to continue their journeys via alternative public transportation methods.
Zaki, a 43-year-old Lenteng Agung resident, found himself among the affected passengers. "I had to abandon my KRL and switch to a Transjakarta bus to reach Lenteng Station," he told SINDOnews.
As the power disruption continues, numerous commuters are seen waiting patiently at Lenteng Agung Station, hopeful that the KRL service will resume normal operations soon.
