In a serious road incident, the E16 highway has been temporarily closed following a multi-vehicle collision in Røstetunnelen, Lunner. Emergency services, including the Nødetatene rescue team, are currently on the scene attending to the aftermath.
"We are at the site, and the road has been closed," confirms Ove Stian Ovrum, operations leader at the Innlandet police district, in an update to NTB. Initially, it was reported that there was one person in each vehicle involved, but a subsequent update notes that a third vehicle was also caught up in the crash, with the driver not trapped inside.
