Indonesia’s National Nutrition Agency Opens Opportunities for ‘Makan Bergizi Gratis’ Program Partnerships

Article:

The National Nutrition Agency (Badan Gizi NasionalBGN) has launched an initiative inviting potential partners to join its free, balanced meal program, ‘Makan Bergizi Gratis’ (MBG). The BGN has outlined several criteria that organizations or individuals must meet to become official MBG partners.

BGN Chairperson Dadan Hindayana details the requirements in a official statement released on December 31. First and foremost, potential partners must have a clear legal status. Dadan emphasizes that this could be in the form of a registered legal entity or a formal recommendation from a reputable institution.

Secondly, consistent commitment is crucial. Aspiring partners must show dedication to the program through continuous funding, facility support, or human resources contributions.

The third criterion is a shared vision with BGN. Potential partners must align with BGN’s mission to create a healthier society through optimal nutrition.

Fourthly, applicants must provide detailed information about their area of operation and the target community for MBG implementation, such as schools or social institutions.

Dadan encourages interested parties to register their interest via the BGN official website at mitra.bgn.go.id. He emphasizes the open nature of the program, welcoming contributions from various sectors, including business, local governments, and community groups.

"BGN welcomes innovative ideas from partners to expand MBG’s reach across Indonesia," said Dadan.

Interested parties are encouraged to visit the BGN website for comprehensive information, including technical guidelines and registration forms. The agency seeks to foster collaborations that will effectively combat malnutrition in Indonesia.
