Headline: Severe Weather Disrupts Flights at Burgas and Varna Airports; Multiple Flights Canceled

Several flights at the international airport in Burgas and Varna have been canceled due to harsh weather conditions, affecting both incoming and outgoing flights. This information has been confirmed on the official website of ‘Flight radar‘.

An Austrian Airlines flight, scheduled to land in the afternoon, was unexpectedly redirected to Burgas Airport, which accommodated only this particular flight. The plane was forced to make several circles around the airport before changing course to Burgas, as indicated on the ‘Flight radar’ website.

Attempts to reach the airport administration for comment were unsuccessful. Poor weather conditions are suspected to be the primary cause for this exceptional situation.

Incoming flights canceled include those from Istanbul, expected at 09:15, from Sofia at 20:05, and from Charleroi at 22:10. Reciprocally, flights to Istanbul and Sofia were also not completed, with the respective scheduled departure times of 20:45 and 15:30 for the Charleroi flight.

The situation remains dynamic, and travelers are advised to monitor their flight status for any further updates.
