Bergen Diesel Car Fire: Kamelen’s Vehicle Engulfed in Flames
On the early hours of Saturday, a diesel car in Bergen went up in flames, sparking a dramatic incident that has left locals in awe and authorities probing the cause. Bergensavisen was first to break the news, reporting that the vehicle was ablaze around 2 am in C. Sundts gate.
The car, it turned out, belongs to a well-known figure in Bergen, Marcus Kabelo Møll Mosele, often referred to as ‘Kamelen’. In an SMS to Bergens Tidende, Mosele confirmed the vehicle was indeed his.
"It’s true that it was my car," he wrote.
Frode Kolltveit, operations leader at the Vest Police District, recounted the scene. "The car burned quite dramatically, and there was a significant amount of smoke," he said.
The vehicle was parked when the fire started, and police have opened an investigation to determine the cause. "We don’t know what caused it yet," Kolltveit told BT.
Two individuals, including the car’s owner, were questioned on the scene following the incident. As of now, no one has been charged.
This unusual event has certainly turned heads in Bergen, with residents wondering what could have caused the sudden flames in the early morning hours. Authorities continue their investigation, hoping to shed light on this curious incident.
