Breaking News: Fire Engulfs Apartment Block in Sofia
A sudden blaze erupted in a residential building in Sofia, with flames licking an apartment on the sixth floor in the "Ovcha Kupel 2" quarter. The incident resulted in injuries to one individual who was rushed to the hospital. Occupants of the affected building were promptly evacuated.
The fire alarm was raised at 10:45 AM on Monday. Emergent response teams comprising three fire engines, a water supply unit, and police officers were swiftly deployed to the scene. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
In a separate incident earlier this week, a fire believed to have originated from a campervan engulfed a residential block in Kazanlak.
