A devastating head-on collision in San Rafael left two motorcycle riders dead and a truck driver injured on Saturday, marking the first fatal accident of 2025 in the province.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the crash occurred when both vehicles, a motorcycle and a truck, collided frontally. The riders, traveling on the motorcycle, were unfortunately pronounced dead at the scene. They have been identified as Isaías López (conductor) and Marcos Alcides Navarro (40, passenger).
The driver of the truck sustained minor injuries to his left hand and one of his eyelids and was promptly attended to.
Local authorities are currently working to determine the exact cause of the collision.
