In a tragic incident, four lives were lost and two others were injured in an explosion at Sofia’s Central Station, according to a report by Fokus news outlet, citing the Ministry of Interior. The two injured individuals, one approaching 65 and the other over 35, were hospitalized in critical condition at the "Pirogov" hospital’s toxicology unit.

Initial reports suggest that the victims were homeless and had set fire to a train carriage, which was later extinguished. The incident occurred around 2:30 AM.
