GameSir Nova Vision Controller Introduces Built-In LCD Screen
GameSir released its first wireless controller equipped with a built-in LCD screen and manual thumbstick resistance adjustments, Jagat Play reported. The device, named the Nova Vision, lets users configure profiles, button layouts, and analog sticks directly through its display system without opening companion software.
The controller features a 0,96-inch LCD screen on the front panel powered by a system called VisionOS. Beyond steering, the display shows battery status and wallpaper graphics. The hardware includes Hall Effect thumbsticks that rely on magnetic sensors to reduce stick drift.
Direct Analog Stick Adjustments and Dual Trigger Modes
Users can physically rotate the thumbsticks to adjust resistance anywhere from 30gf to 80gf. Lighter settings target fast movements, while heavier resistance aims to provide precision for aiming. The controller’s triggers support two configurations: Hall Effect analog for gradual input and Micro Switch for click responses.
Additional hardware includes two rear buttons that support macro mapping up to 12 steps. The device also incorporates a six-sumbu gyroscope, dual asymmetric vibration motors, and a polling rate reaching 1,000Hz. Power comes from a 1,000mAh battery paired with an auto-charging dock.
Pricing and Platform Compatibility Details
GameSir priced the Nova Vision at US$54,99, making it less expensive than the G7 Pro. Connectivity options cover Bluetooth, wireless 2.4GHz, and wired connections. Nintendo Switch 2 users also gain access to a Lift-to-Wake function that activates the console when lifting the controller from its dock.
The controller ships in black and white color options. Supported platforms include Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, PC, and mobile devices, while PlayStation 5 and Xbox consoles lack compatibility. The rear inputs use elongated paddle-style buttons instead of individual switches.
