CUCS Announces Exclusive COVID-19 Vaccination Drive for its University Community
The Rector of the Health Sciences University Center (CUCS), José Francisco Muñoz Valle, has announced an exclusive COVID-19 vaccination drive for the CUCS university community. The vaccination will take place on January 9-10 and January 12-15, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM in the CUCS Multi-Purpose Dome. The vaccination is free and will continue until the daily supply of the vaccine is exhausted.
The vaccine to be administered is Pfizer/BioNTech Comirnaty JN.1 (2024-2025). The primary objective of this drive is to protect the CUCS university community, including those engaged in clinical practices, fieldwork, or classes in healthcare institutions. The aim is to reinforce their immune systems against the current COVID-19 cases in Jalisco.
Requirements for Vaccination:
To receive the vaccine, individuals must present their CUCS ID card or a valid SIIAU card and wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the non-dominant arm. Protection against the sun is also recommended.
The CUCS Rector, José Francisco Muñoz Valle, underscores the importance of this vaccination drive to ensure the safety of the university community. He encourages all eligible individuals to take advantage of this opportunity to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
