How much can you save on the POCO X8 Pro?
AliExpress has lowered the price of the POCO X8 Pro by €148 as part of its ongoing summer offers. While the device launched at a competitive €403, the current promotion brings the cost down to €285. By using the specific coupon code PHDFR30, buyers can subtract another €30 from the total.
This brings the final checkout price to €255. The product carries the “Marque+” certification on AliExpress, which Phonandroid notes guarantees authenticity and includes free shipping from France within five days.
What hardware powers the POCO X8 Pro?
Xiaomi has equipped the POCO X8 Pro with a Dimensity 8500-Ultra chipset. This processor uses a 4nm manufacturing process, which helps balance high-speed performance for gaming with the energy efficiency required for long battery life. The chipset works alongside 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
The visual experience relies on a 6.59-inch AMOLED display. This screen provides a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. These specifications allow for smooth scrolling and high-definition color reproduction during media playback.
Why is the battery and charging system significant?
The device includes a 6,500mAh battery, a capacity that Phonandroid suggests can support up to two days of standard daily usage. To manage this large capacity, Xiaomi included 100W fast charging technology, which can rapidly replenish the battery in just a few dozen minutes.
A less common feature at this price point is the 27W wired reverse charging. This allows the POCO X8 Pro to function as a portable power source for other electronics, such as wireless earbuds or smaller smartphones.
How does the camera system perform?
The primary camera setup consists of a 50MP main sensor. This is paired with an 8MP ultra-wide lens to capture broader scenes. While Phonandroid notes that this configuration is not intended to compete with ultra-premium flagship camera systems, it remains capable of capturing high-detail images for everyday photography.
