In more recent decades, the location served as The Treasury Building, functioning as the headquarters for the National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA) and the National Asset Management Agency (NAMA). Google purchased the property in 2020 for €120 million.

“The Bakery” will increase Google’s real estate capacity in Ireland by adding 325,000 square feet, which includes a dedicated events hub.
