Google Slashes $100 Off Pixel Watch 5 Lineup in Early Black Friday Promotion
The Google Pixel Watch 5 is currently available at a record-low price of $300 for the 41mm Wi-Fi model, down from its standard $400 list price. The $100 discount hits every configuration across the entire lineup, matching early holiday price cuts found at Amazon, Best Buy, and the Google Store.
The 25 percent price drop significantly undercuts previous promotions seen during October Big Deal Days. The pricing for the sales event shows the larger 45mm Wi-Fi model dropping from $430 to $330, the 41mm LTE version falling from $500 to $400, and the 45mm LTE tier moving from $530 down to $430.
Hardware Upgrades and Performance Metrics
The Pixel Watch 5 starts at $399 for the 41mm Wi-Fi version and $429 for the 45mm edition before discounts, marking the first time the starting price has increased in the US. Underneath the familiar domed glass design, the device packs double the RAM and storage of its predecessor alongside a Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 processor.
CNET reviewer Vanessa Hand Orellana highlighted rapid fast charging as a standout hardware trait. Testing demonstrated that a quick 15-minute charge supplies up to 15 hours of use, while total battery capacity reaches roughly 36 to 40 hours depending on usage.
Health Tracking and Gemini AI Integration
The watch includes heart rate tracking for both active workouts and rest periods, alongside sleep monitoring features that measure breathing regularity and time spent in individual sleep phases. Google’s new Health Guardian trend reports and Breathing Emergency Detection extend critical monitoring capabilities to the wearable.
The device incorporates offline Gemini capabilities, allowing users to execute tasks like starting a workout without an active network connection. Buyers purchasing either LTE model receive two full years of data and texting services powered by Google Fi, provided the offer is activated within 60 days.
