Culiacán Shaken: Sushi Restaurant Owner Fatally Shot in Broad Daylight

In a brazen act of violence, the owner of a popular sushi restaurant in Culiacán’s La Esperanza neighborhood was executed in broad daylight on Wednesday evening. The victim, identified as Jesús Abraham "N", was the proprietor of Master Sushi, located in a bustling plaza along the Boulevard Agricultores.

Witnesses reported that armed subjects, wielding AK-47 rifles, stormed the establishment, opening fire and leaving the man lifeless on the floor near the dining tables. The crime scene was marred by the aftermath, with dozens of spent shell casings, believed to be from "cuerno de chivo" weapons, scattered across the area.

First responders from the State Police arrived swiftly after being notified of the incident. They secured the scene and waited for forensic experts and investigators from the Attorney General’s Office to arrive, who would conduct the necessary diligences and arrange for the body to be transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office.

This shocking incident once again highlights the ongoing battle against crime and violence in Culiacán, with prominent local businesses becoming the unfortunate targets. Authorities have vowed to investigate the matter thoroughly and bring those responsible to justice.
