Heavy Trucks Block Northern Access via Shipka Pass, Heavy Snowfall Creating Bottlenecks
Three heavy-duty trucks have brought traffic to a standstill on the northern side of the Shipka Pass, with snowplows unable to clear the path, according to local reports. nova.bg reports that one of the trucks has been blocking the road for over 40 minutes, causing significant traffic buildups and hampering the efforts of snowplows to clear the road. "Traction is being lost, and snowplows cannot make progress," remarked a viewer of NOVA, Kraxiimir Atanasov.
The Regional Road Management inGabrovo has confirmed the situation, stating that they have cleared one lane to allow for lighter vehicles to pass.
