Residents of several key areas in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, are currently experiencing a lack of hot and cold water, authorities confirmed today. The affected districts include ‘Mladost 4’, ‘Nadezhda 1’, ‘Geo Milev’, and ‘Dianabad’, according to updates posted on the website of ‘Toplofikacia Sofia’ under the ‘Accidents and Repairs’ section, reported by BTA.
The water outage has impacted inhabitants living in blocks such as 447 of ‘Mladost 4’, around the 16th Elementary School ‘R. Zhinzifov’, the 3rd Auxiliary School ‘V. Kolаров’ in ‘Nadezhda 1’, on ‘Kosta Lulchev’ Street (numbers 15, 17, 19), ‘An. Fon Humpoldt‘ Street (numbers 30, 32), ‘Lidice’ Street (numbers 4, 6) in ‘Geo Milev’, and blocks 14, 15, 16, and 17 in ‘Dianabad’.
Hot water supply is expected to be restored in ‘Nadezhda 1’ by tomorrow around 5 PM, while the rest of the districts are anticipated to have their service reinstated by January 4th, 2023.
