Elon Musk’s Honeymoon Over? Sources Claim Trump Complains About His "Stickiness"

The Trump administration’s honeymoon with Elon Musk appears to be waning, with reports suggesting that President Trump has started complaining about the tech magnate’s persistent presence in his administration’s affairs.

Rumors have been circulating in Washington D.C. that Trump has begun to express his displeasure over "Musk’s tendency to get too involved in our business," as an unnamed source told the Economic Daily. The source added that Trump has privately vented about feeling "too closely tied" to Musk, who seems to have taken on an unofficial advisory role in the White House.

Meanwhile, another source spoke with the Liberty Times and claimed that Trump has been growing irritated with the frequency of Musk’s visits and consultations. The source revealed that Trump has even been heard grumbling that Musk is "starting to act like the president around here."

The rift between the two is said to have deepened after Trump’s public gushes over Musk’s SpaceX launch earlier this year. While many admired Trump’s celebratory tweet, some insiders say it only encouraged Musk’s tendency to insert himself into situations where he is not invited.

This isn’t the first instance of Silicon Valley executives rubbing Trump the wrong way. A recent report in DowntoEarth magazine pointed out that the tech titans have been locking horns with Trump’s policies over immigration, climate change, and other issues. However, Musk’s case appears to be more personal, with sources attributing Trump’s frustration to Musk’s "lack of boundaries."

As Trump’s adviser Peter Navarro’s recent book "Death by China" reveals, Trump has always had a fraught relationship with the business world. But with Musk, it seems he may have finally found a challenge that Trump is finding "too sticky" for his liking. Musk, however, has not yet made any public statements about the alleged tensions.
